As climate change grows more severe, the harmful effects of the sun’s UV rays are becoming more pronounced. But we’ve been taught that melanated skin is a natural SPF. Shouldn’t it be enough to protect us?!
Don't get us wrong- the essential vitamin D we make from sun exposure is where it's at, but measures should be taken to protect against UVA and UVB rays- even for melanin rich kings and queens.
